Rao Dentistry is a blog that brings dental topics to you in a light, non-technical and entertaining way.

Most people don’t like going to the dentist. I know that.

I also know that while most people don’t like the process, they want the end result: a healthy, beautiful smile and as few dental problems as possible.

This Blog . . .

. . . cannot replace an actual dental visit, but it can arm you with a better understanding of your oral health.

There is a lot of emphasis on prevention, which I believe is helpful in all aspects of health of our body, not just our mouth. And since the two are connected, it makes sense to take care of both.

This blog features (mostly) weekly articles about various dental topics: concerns that pop up frequently and others suggested by patients in my practice or questions asked in the comments.

I stray, and get personal. Or funny (well I try, anyways).

Yes, I’m a dentist. I also like to read, run, cook, travel and spend time with my husband and two wonderfully energetic children, and our friends. And I love coffee and wine. Plus chocolate. Shocking, I know.

One of the best perks of my job is changing the way people feel and think about getting great dental care, and have fun doing it.

So if you’re looking to find a wonderful home for all your dental needs, come visit my practice and my ace dental team.

Your smile, our place.
